For over three decades, our Sarasota campus has been a working environment where reclaimed wood, global artifacts, and custom-built furniture come together through collaboration between artisans and clients.
We believe furniture should do more than fill a room. It should carry presence, function with integrity, and age with meaning. Each piece is designed to be lived with — not rushed, not replicated, and not disconnected from its origins.

Decor Direct was shaped over decades by Anthony and Celeste, whose shared respect for craft, material, and beauty continues to guide the work today. Their backgrounds span making, building, travel, and study — but the heart of the work has always been the same: to create furniture that carries presence, functions with integrity, and invites a more grounded way of living.

Recognition
Decor Direct has been recognized nationally for its approach to craft, merchandising, sustainability, and community engagement. In 2017, Home Accents Today named Decor Direct one of its Top 50 Retail Stars, placing us among a small group of independent furniture retailers recognized across the United States.
The editors cited our creative products, thoughtful presentation, commitment to sustainable materials, and deep involvement in the local community. We’ve been grateful to continue this work for more than three decades, supported by clients who value originality, longevity, and care.

Design Awards
Decor Direct was also awarded Best Outdoor Design by Sarasota Magazine in 2017 at the Jewels on the Bay design fundraiser benefiting the Boys & Girls Club. Competing alongside interior design firms throughout Sarasota and Southwest Florida, our team was recognized for an outdoor space that emphasized sustainability, material intelligence, and playful restraint.
The judges described the design as “fun,” “creative,” and “a great use of sustainable materials.”
Community
Decor Direct has always been rooted in place. We support a range of local organizations serving Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch, including Habitat for Humanity, the American Legion, Leukemia Society, DWC Breast Cancer & Beyond, Gulf Coast Legal Services, and the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Our involvement isn’t a program — It’s a practice — like the community Tai Chi classes we’ve hosted over the years. We believe strong communities are built through steady participation, shared responsibility, and showing up over time.
